Memorial Program

Plant Trees in Memory

A vibrant, beautiful tree benefits everyone in this and future generations and is perhaps the most fitting memorial of all. Planting a tree is an act of direct benefit to all.

It can inspire energy, faith, devotion, and courage and carry forward the name of those memorialized in a living, vital way that grows grander with the years.

This is a great program that allows you to give a living gift to someone who has just lost someone. For $19.95 (+$2 for each additional tree) the Honoree will receive a card that reads like the following and trees will be planted in their honor in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park (we prefer the GSM to try and reforest it after the wildfires that took place on November 28th, 2017).

They're more than our pets. They're our friends. They carve out a special place in our hearts and in our lives. What better way to honor them than with the gift of trees?

Celebrate a new adoption. Honor the memory of a beloved companion.

Replanting Our Forests

Our forests. They provide wildlife habitat, natural beauty and recreational opportunities. They filter our air and our water. They are vital to life as we know it. And they need our help. Critical efforts to revitalize forests across the country—and around the globe—are underway to ensure that they live on for future generations, and you can support this important work.

Over the course of 50 years, a single tree can generate $31,250 of oxygen, provide $62,000 worth of air pollution control, recycle $37,500 worth of water, and control $31,500 worth of soil erosion.

Your trees will be silent sentinels, honorable monuments, and for decades to come, active participants in nature's plan.

This picture was taken during the Great Smoky Mountain National Park Wildfires on November 28th, 2017. Although I did not take this picture. I was there in Gatlinburg and that is why I am so strongly encouraging people to replant in the park.
